1. Place 1 40mm x 6mm screw, in each of the two handlebar mounting holes in the bottom base casting.
2. Place one, black anodized, aluminum standoff over each 40mm bolt, on the back-side of the bottom base casting.
3. Remove the plastic cover strap over the handlebar clamp bolts.
4. Remove the two screws from the handlebar clamp, taking care to hold the clamp together with one hand.
5. Insert the casting into the handlebar clamp and tighten the two 40mm Allen Head bolts, alternating between the two until the clamp is once again tight (12 inch/pounds of torque) on the handlebar.
NOTE: Be sure to keep the outer clamp in place. Use the bottom base and associated GPS mounting equipment only for
its intended purpose. Use of the device
as a tie-down point or other similar use is NOT recommended.
TOOL LIST: Allen wrench (Motorcycle tool kit or any 5mm Allen wrench).
